News from Shapwick Reserve
The work party on 30th November enjoyed another lovely day on the reserve. Lots of clearing was done in the area around the site of the new hide, for which the foundation posts are already in situ. Some significant pollarding of willows near the hide had been done so there was much to get rid of with a large bonfire. There will be no work day in December- the next one will be 5th Jan. If Simon is feeling kind and you have worked very well, you may get to leave early enough to see the starlings, which are particularly good at this time of year!
