Sorrel overwintering in South West Scotland

The indications from the satellite data are that Sorrel is alive and active.  Although only in her second year, she continues to provide a fascinating insight into the innate behaviour of the species.  Having conducted a tour of the UK towards the end of her first year, including a brief flirtation with the Scottish Highland Region before returning to her natal area, Sorrel appears to be following a similar pattern this year.  As we and our ground-based observers continue to monitor her through the overwintering period in South West Scotland, the big question is will she / won’t she head north in Spring 2018.  Watch this space…
