Dorset & South Somerset Group

The group held its inaugural meeting on 26 November 2010. The main aims are to involve the local community in making owl and kestrel boxes from recycled materials, to hold talks and walks though the year and to have monthly meetings in the winter. From February 2012 the group plans to meet every 3 Thursday of the month during Winter at The Wheathill Garden Centre Cafe, Milborne Port, nr Sherborne, Dorset.

The aims of the group are to unite lovers of birds of prey in Dorset and South Somerset and to inspire them to get involved with the Trust’s conservation work.
