The biggest event in the North York Moors National Park’s annual calendar marks the start of National Parks Week, a celebration of the very best of Britain’s countryside. The Moors National Park Centre at Danby is the venue for a full day of walks, talks, live music, activities and demonstrations, from woodland skills and moorland crafts to sheep-shearing and have-a-go archery. Chat to our staff about National Park projects, join in with the wide range of family activities, and find out about local dialect, songs and customs with the Danelaw Living History Group. Dogs on leads are welcome.
Time: Drop in anytime between 11:00am and 4:30pm
Cost: FREE (some activities chargeable)
