Come along at 10am on 23 February and help us finish work on our first ever Observation Hide, ready for its official opening on March 8.

This has been our busiest winter ever with lots of ditch work completed, together with new ponds and scrapes, new paths, lots of hedging and the erecting lots of nestboxes ready for the nesting season – come along and view the changes to the reserve.

The building work on the hide should all be finished by mid February, but we need to paint it with preservative and work still needs to be done on the area around the hide together with lots of other tasks.

Families welcome. Come along for the whole or part of the day. Please email simon.beard@hawkandowl.org or telephone 07919095705 for further information.

Next workday at Shapwick Moor
