On Sunday 1 May, The Tour de Yorkshire, Stage 3 is set to pass through Fylingdales Moor.
It will reach the Moor at the summit of the Cote de Robin Hood’s Bay and then follow the A171 until the turn off for Harwood Dale. The last view of the moor, in the distance, is from the summit of the Cote de Harwood Dale.
The race is scheduled to get to the Cote de Robin Hood’s Bay at 3.55pm, so the exact timing of it passing through the moor will be flexible on the day. As you would expect this event will be very popular, so parking will be very limited. Arriving early to get the best spot would be recommended. There will also be a Race Caravan located on the route to distribute goodies on the day.
Please see the map below for the full route. More information about this exciting day will be posted on our website nearer the time, so please check back. Thank you
