…And Finally the Last Bath Peregrine Chick Fledges

A short YouTube of the fledging of the final peregrine chick at Bath this year; JY left the nest at 12:24 on 17 June. Took to the air very confidently.

After seeing this on line our Bath Project Coordinator went into Bath to check out where all the fledglings were and found that all three were on the church with both adults in attendance and being fed by mum. This year and last have shown the benefit gained from iCode’s iCatcher system allowing us to monitor the nest and respond to ‘occurrences’, whatever they may be.

Another successful year’s fledging.
